chocolate-y banana smoothie
- 1 cup ice
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup cooled coffee
- 1/4 cup whole milk, or to taste
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 pitted dates
- Pinch of kosher salt
In a blender, combine ice, banana, coffee, milk, yogurt, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, dates, and salt and blend until completely smooth. Add in more milk if needed until you reach desired consistency.
cook’s note: For a more cocoa flavor, use 2 tablespoons cocoa powder.
