Clambake Chardonnay is no gimmick. Founder and sommelier Mary McAuley, set out on a mission to create a wine that paired perfectly with the flavors of a backyard clambake. The result is a less oaked Chardonnay with hints of acidity and zesty fruit, just enough to cut through the meatiness of the seafood and the lingering flavor of melted butter on the tip of your tongue.

Clambake Chardonnay expresses a North Coast AVA (American Viticultural Area), called “Mendocino” an appellation roughly the size of the state of Rhode Island. The terroir here allows for great diversity in the wines because of the coastal influences, Mendocino coastal range mountaintops, and the redwood forests. This is 100% Chardonnay, stainless steal fermented, that's light and crisp. Hints of lemon zest, white peach, yellow pear, pineapple, and white and yellow flowers like daisy all have a presence on the palate.

Clambake Chardonnay is a beautiful backyard sipping wine, best served alongside fresh local seafood, surrounded by those who appreciate a thoughtfully-made wine with a purpose.
