beach plum margarita

This refreshing and festive cocktail is perfect at a holiday barbeque or beach bonfire.

1 1/2 ounces beach plum juice (see adjacent)
Rock salt, for rims of glasses
3 ounces tequila
1 ounce agave nectar
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
Ice
Crushed ice, for serving

  1. Prepare glasses by pouring a bit of extra beach plum juice into a shallow bowl. Dip glasses’ rims first into juice and then into rock salt.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine beach plum juice, tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, and some ice and shake vigorously. Place crushed ice into prepared glasses, strain in cocktail, and serve.

Serves 2.
