radish greens smoothie

An easy way to use up your radish greens. When you combine them with kale, apple, and avocado, no one will even know they’re in there.

1 1/2 cups ice
1 cup water
1 green apple, chopped
1/2 avocado, halved and pitted
1 cup packed radish greens, trimmed and washed
1 cup packed chopped kale, trimmed and washed
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
4 pitted dates
Juice from 1 lemon, or to taste
1 tablespoon honey, optional, or to taste

  1. In a blender, chop ice. Add water, apple, avocado, radish greens, kale, yogurt, dates, lemon juice, and honey (if using). Blend until completely smooth. Add more water or lemon juice if necessary. Taste and adjust flavor as desired.

Makes 1 16-ounce smoothie.
